A local landmark since 1996, the Tollgate Steakhouse proudly specializes in USDA Dry Aged Prime Beef.
The name "Tollgate" derives from the one time "Tollhouse" in which it is now housed. Before the turn of the 20th century when Route 1, Boston Post Road, was a historic New York to Boston stagecoach line , the " Tollgate" collected tolls and served as a weigh station for local merchants and farmers shipping goods to NYC via the Long Island sound and Route 1.
Now, with 3 handsomely restored dining rooms, the Tollgate Steakhouse is a well known tri-level beef emporium for steak lovers from both far and near.
